Statement Hyperion

Leinfelden-Echterdingen, 23. October 2025

Dear FUSO partners and body builders,

As you may have heard, Mitsubishi uso Truck & Bus Corporation (MFTBC) and Hino Motors are embarking on a new chapter. Together, we plan to integrate the commercial vehicle operations under a newly established holding company - jointly owned by Daimler Truck and Toyota Motor Corporation. Each will hold a 25% stake, with the remaining 50% to be offered to investors via the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

This integration is expected to be finalized and fully operational by April 2026. This strategic move is designed to accelerate innovation, strengthen business foundations, and enhance competitiveness in a rapidly evolving industry. It’s a bold step forward and one we believe will bring value to our customers and partners.

Europe remains a key market for FUSO, and we want to reassure you that our commitment to quality, reliability, and customer proximity remains unwavering. The FUSO factory in Portugal will continue to produce vehicles for the European market, and our products will remain available in an European sales and service network via MFTBC.

We thank you for your continued trust and look forward to a longstanding partnership.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your local dealership or contact us directly through the email: regional_office_europe@daimlertruck.com.

Best regards,
